The Centre for Staff and Educational Development (CSED) are running two Light Byte sessions this semester – Teaching and Learning 2.0 and Digital Video for Teaching and Learning. Teaching and Learning 2.0

Details This session will look at various Web 2.0 tools and applications and explore their potential to support teaching, learning and the student experience. During the session participants will be given the opportunity to choose the tools and applications we cover in the session from a selection of social networking sites like Facebook, social bookmarking sites like Delicious, media sharing sites like Flickr and YouTube, and others. Participants will be encouraged to discuss and vote on the potential of each tool following a brief introduction to the technology.
Digital Video for Teaching and Learning

Details In this session we will consider and explore how video can be used to support different pedagogic approaches and teaching methods in higher education. We will then go on and look at some of the innovative pilot projects and teaching fellowships running at UEA and the resources available to support video production.
